FREE One Day Detox

Updated: Mar 2

After all of the holiday indulgences, most of us could probably use a little detoxification

Why detox?

Do you keep your home in clean and efficient working order by doing these things every week?

-doing your dishes?

-cleaning up clutter?

-dusting and de-cluttering?

- taking out the garbage every week?

Keep your body clean, just like you keep your house clean!

If you look at your body in the same way as you look at your house, it is a no brainer as to why you would want to do a detox.

A detox is like a clean up for your body! All that stuff you do every week to keep your house in clean and in efficient working order, why shouldn’t you be doing the same kind of things to keep your body in clean and efficient working order? That is what a detox does for your body! It allows you body to efficiently clean things out, that are bogging your body down! A Detox is like taking out the garbage, for your body! Get the garbage out that has built up in your body over time and watch your body work more effectively, you will feel better, look healthier and have more energy!

Eliminate sugar and empty carbohydrates

During a detox, you should be cutting back on, or eliminating the amount of sugars, wheat based carbohydrates and dairy products that you are eating. There is more than one reason for this. Sugars and simple carbohydrates like breads, cereals and crackers are digested and broken down quickly in our systems, often causing sudden spikes in our blood sugar levels. These types of carbohydrates and sugars are not so good for us, and should be avoided, if excellent health is what we are striving for. Dairy based foods are often very hard for most of us to digest, even though we may not realize it, and that is the reason they are avoided during a detox.

Whole grain breads, cereals and crackers are much better choices, for us to eat but often during a detox, even whole grains are eliminated, because of the chance of grains causing an allergic response in the body.

Learn which foods could be causing reactions in your body

Many people are consuming foods daily that they react to and are unaware of it until, they do an elimination, or a detox diet. These types of diets cause us to eliminate the most potentially allergic foods for several weeks and then to slowly add these potentially allergic foods back into our diets, it is only then, that we notice our bodies reactions, to these foods. Common reactions are digestive upset, bloating, constipation, heartburn, sinus or nasal congestion, skin issues, such as eczema, psoriasis and rashes and changes in mood.

You don't have to try a detox, or elimination diet to identify allergies or food sensitivities. I can help you with that! I provide The BASE allergy program to help identify allergies sensitivities and relieve their related symptoms. This program is safe for adults, children and babies, learn more about it here: https://www.eathealthy2bpainfree.com/base-allergy-program

A simple detox can teach you many things

If you are looking to change your diet and eat healthier a detox diet can be a good place to start. Detoxing can teach you all about healthy foods, open your eyes to foods that you may have not otherwise tried, and teach you that you CAN live without fluffy baked goods and not starve to death! After you are done your detox you can choose to add back in the foods that make you feel your best, and keep eating the healthy foods that you enjoyed eating during your detox. During a detox you will only be eating whole foods.

When is the last time you spent a week or two eating only unprocessed, whole foods? Don't you think your body deserves a break from the processed foods that you have been feeding it?

More reasons to try a detox program or diet:

Most people experience, increased energy, less bloating, improved digestion, clearer skin, less brain fog, clearer mind, a better sense of well being, weight loss, better immune system function and removal of toxins from their body during a detox.

In the end, it's up to you to decide

It's up to you to make up your mind whether you think a detox diet or program is for you or not. There are benefits to detoxing your body, it's just like taking the garbage out every week!
